The Secret Sauce to a Successful Lawyer/Paralegal Partnership, Playing College Golf, Red Coat Marching Band and Saban v. Kirby with Chris Gunnels and Luis Miranda
Chris Gunnels and Luis Miranda from the Atlanta, GA personal injury law firm of The Gunnels Law Firm join us for a very informative episode. Chris is originally from South Georgia and Luis is originally from Venezuela and Mexico and while their paths have been different they have ended up together and make as good of a lawyer/paralegal combination as you will find. We learn fate stepped in through an international mission trip to bring them together with Luis being hired as Chris’s paralegal and how their relationship grew towards the decision to start their own firm. We hear how they look at running a law firm and the vital role a paralegal plays in doing so. They discuss their trial and marketing strategies and practices that work including playing to each other strengths in dividing, tasks, roles and responsibilities.
Chris played college golf and we learn the grind of playing golf at that level and what separates the best of the best. Meanwhile, Luis was in the Red Coat Marching Band at UGA and we hear about that experience. Chris is a die hard Alabama fan and Luis a UGA fan so of course we had to do some UGA v. Alabama and Kirby v. Saban talk and make predictions for the rest of the season.
