My guests this week are Dierdra Williams and her son, Dylan Williams. Dierdra is an attorney for John Foy & Associates and Dylan is a senior at Sequoyah High School. Of course we talk law with Dierdra and the specifics of her job at one of the largest injury firms in Atlanta. But we spend more time talking with her and Dylan about his soccer career and his academic achievements. Dylan is a super impressive kid. He will graduate this Spring as a Scholar Athlete and continue his athletic career on a soccer scholarship to Georgia State University where he will be in the Honors Program. We talk about his journey from youth soccer to an invitation to the national team in Spain to his High School team to his college recruitment and ultimate decision on where to play college soccer. Dierdra gives her perspectives as a mom watching her son go through it all and offers her advice on what she has learned along with way. Oh yea, Dierdra has another son, Drew, who is following his brothers path on the baseball field. All of you moms out there will be able to relate to Dierdra’s experiences.
