We are joined this week by Alia Alston – Founder, Franchisor & CEO of Icebox Cryotherapy Studios. Cryotherapy is a modern take on the traditional ice bath and involves exposing the body for 3 minutes to ultra-law temperatures. Icebox is a whole-body cryotherapy company where customers can spend 3 minutes “in the box’ to help reduce chronic inflammation, improve circulation, relieve pain and promote overall better health and wellness.

Alia tells her story of being injured in a car wreck caused by a drunk driver – leaving her with chronic pain and a debilitating neck injury. She was introduced to cryotherapy and the rest is history. After seeing the positive effects cryotherapy had on her, Alia went on a mission 10 years ago to bring cryotherapy mainstream and to brick and mortar retail stories. From introducing cryotherapy to the Atlanta Falcons and the NFL to appearing on HBO’s Hard Knock’s to driving Icebox on Wheels to Hawks games to now having 33 Icebox Studio’s in 7 states, Alia has certainly fulfilled that goal. We learn from Alia how she went about setting up and organizing Icebox and the mechanics of starting a Franchise Business from scratch.
